Your giving changes lives - especially your own!

Your Giving Changes Lives

Your generosity makes a difference. And it is about far more than paying staff and keeping the lights on. Lives are changed. Hope restored. Faith renewed. Needs met.

We invite you to participate in the June Giving Challenge.

This will enable us to:

  • Meet our budget to resource all the ministries of the church as the mission of NBUC is generally funded through everyday people giving generously and faithfully. Thank you!
  • Help cover extra costs associated with our growing church and staff
  • Increase our work in communications so that we can better serve our church and reach out to the community
  • Resource Alpha and the increase in Alpha participants as well as more people taking discipleship growth courses
  • Continue to enable Community Outreach programs, Children and Youth ministries, facilities maintenance and upgrades, worship enhancements, and support for local community partnerships

This year's goal is to have 100 participants, together giving $80,000. Whether you can give $10 or $10,000 you can be part of the June Giving Challenge!

You can participate by:

  • giving for the first time
  • making a one-time donation over-and-above your regular giving
  • tithing (giving 10% of your income) over the month of June

We encourage your generous financial support of NBUC, as we reach out in generous support of our community. Thank you!

Ways to give

Interac e-transfer is a convenient way to donate money at your convenience. All you need is access to online or mobile banking through your financial institution, and you can send money directly to NBUC — without sharing any personal financial information.

Just send to No password required!

Give Online - If you give to NBUC through our online option you can choose to assign your gift to the general operation of the church or to one of several designated funding areas. One-time and recurring gifts (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly) can be made using a credit or debit card. Click here.

PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) - The most effective way to give is through PAR – an automatic debit to your bank account or charge to your credit card where 100% of your contribution goes to NBUC. You decide annually, the monthly gift that you would like to make — and you can adjust it any time. Through PAR you continue to support NBUC even when you're unable to attend worship. This helps NBUC to plan ahead for our ministries. If you would like to try this, click the button to complete the form below and someone will get in touch with you to walk you through the process.

Tap To Give - When you're at NBUC you have the option to give using our TipTap devices, typically located by the main entrance. Simply tap on the $10, $20 or $50 device with a credit or debit card and your donation is on its way! Here's a brief demonstration video:  TipTap Demo

Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put God first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV

God gives us good things and all that we have is from God. He gave the ultimate gift, His son, for our sins. When you hear us talk about giving generously, that’s what we mean. God created you with a generous spirit.

Biblical principles around giving:

  • Everything we have comes from God
  • Give from off the top
  • Choose a percentage
  • Grow towards tithing and beyond
  • Give with Joy!

Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.
