Audio Team

Description :

This role puts you behind the soundboard in our sanctuary. You will manage the levels for all of our microphones and instruments on stage before, during and after our Sunday services at NBUC. Additionally, you will have control over the headphone mixes of each of the musicians on stage.

Requirements :

• Complete NBUC Soundboard Training and any other subsequent or pre-requisite trainings surrounding our equipment
• Build a suitable, musical mix for worship music
• Diligently monitor the live audio quality of the performance/sermon
• Strong communication skills
• Listen to feedback from MD, Musicians, and Congregation regarding sound with professional discretion
• Respond to comments about noise level with prescribed statements* provided by NBUC leadership
• Effectively delegate necessary tasks to the Stage Hand
• Be able to effectively troubleshoot signal flow problems
• Contribute to and uphold NBUC's core value's

Description :

In this role you will work with the Sunday Morning Tech team working directly with the soundboard operator to assist in setting up cables, mic and amps on the stage. This role also helps ensure levels are set correctly for all those in the congregation as well as those leading worship from the stage.

• Be attentive and proactive regarding NBUC's audio production needs
• Take direction from the Sound Operator
• Respond to comments about noise level with prescribed statements* provided by NBUC leadership
• Practice good cable management
• Contribute to and uphold NBUC's core value's

Description :

The broadcast mixer ensures that the live sound being broadcasted to the online worship platform sounds good and adequate for laptop and tv speakers. This is a key component of enhancing the experience for our online congregation!

• Be proficient in software DAW's such as Logic Pro X
• Be perceptive, proactive, and adaptable
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledgable in: Digital Audio Signal Flow, Audio Mixing, Dante Networking

In assisting the broadcast mixer, this role is an extra set of hands and ears on the live sound to ensure things run smoothly for our online worship community.
