Our home groups at NBUC are one of the best ways we have to help people connect with others and grow in Christ. We encourage all our groups to do three things:
- Connect and share life,
- Grow in faith through scripture and other devotions;
- Pray together.
Here are a few of our small groups that we would love for you to join if you want to grow in this way:
Young Adult Group - Melissa
A small group for young adults meeting every Monday at 6:30 for connection and growing in faith through scripture and the going deeper questions from Sunday.
Alpha Spin off B - Kelly
Is a ladies group who supports each to grow in faith by reading scripture and going deeper in the Sunday service sermons.
The Fisherman Gathering - Bob and Duane
A group of men committed to following Jesus, meeting every Tuesday morning at 6-7 am. We have deep insightful conversations about life, scripture, and prayer.
Heartlake - Valerie and Katrina
We meet on Tuesday evenings to foster deep connections with each other and grow in faith through devotionals and prayer.
Morning Women’s - Lydia
The purpose of this group is to share our challenges and victories and support each other as we explore, learn and grow in our faith. Each week we read a scripture and dig deeper into the subject shared during the previous Sunday service. We end each meeting by bringing the needs of the group to God in prayer.
Soul Movers - Amy
A running/walking group open to everyone who wants to come move and be moved together. We start with a scripture, walk, or run, have coffee and end with a prayer,
Soul Pedalers - Frank
A cycling group that’s open to cyclist of all levels. We ride weekly from May to October. Come join us for some cycling and great fellowship.
The Journey - Kevin A small group that is connecting through email with a daily devotional using a book called, “Through the Bible”. All are welcome to join.
