Child Care Worker
North Bramalea United Church (NBUC) is looking for an individual aged 15-30 to fulfill a temporary position of Child Care Worker. Use your skills and passion to make a difference in the community! This position is funded in part by the Canada Summer Jobs program of Service Canada.
This role is of interest if you are seeking:
- temporary work, 8 weeks at 35 hours/week (some flexibility available)

Position:
The Child Care Worker will assist in advancing and supporting the Children’s Ministry of North Bramalea United Church (NBUC).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead children in all activities, including play time, projects, and snack and lunch time.
- Assist children in learning to work together through a variety of interactive games and activities designed to encourage cooperation.
- Assist in successfully resolving conflicts as they arise.
- Engage with parents whenever issues involving a child’s behavior need to be addressed, or when such a meeting is requested by the parents.

IT Analyst

Position:
The IT Analyst will assist in advancing and supporting the Information Technology used in support of the mission of North Bramalea United Church (NBUC).
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing NBUC technology needs and implementing IT solutions
- Supporting the existing NBUC technology infrastructure
- Documentation and data administration (e.g. inventory, configurations, etc.)
Skills:
- Technical skills in Microsoft and Apple computing devices as well as Ethernet technologies
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people

Musicians

Position:
The Musician will assist in the planning, preparation, instruction and delivery of the worship music in support of worship services and other programs of North Bramalea United Church (NBUC).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in selecting, planning, and preparing the music for weekly worship services.
- Support the technical aspects of audio production including the use of recording and edition software.
- Bring creativity and expertise to the vision of the worship ministry.
- Coordinate and schedule team members for practices and worship services.
- Develop musical arrangements appropriate for the skills of the worship team.
- Participate in the worship team during weekly services
Skills:
- Strong singer and/or instrumentalist with basic music theory
- Experience with Digital Audio Workstation software
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people

Social Media Specialist

Position:
The Social Media Specialist will create, support, distribute and promote online media content in alignment with the mission of North Bramalea United Church (NBUC).
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing or capturing in-person video, audio, and graphic media to communicate and engage people in NBUC services, programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with North Bramalea United Church staff and volunteers to understand social media needs and opportunities, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions
- Assist in the management and administration of NBUC social media channels
Skills:
- Technical skills in media creation, editing and distribution
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people

- Editing skills using Adobe Premiere and Canva is a bonus!
