An idea that blossomed out of the home of the Alpha program in London, England; One hour of prayer a week, 168 people praying so that the church is covered in prayer, an engine fired by the Holy Spirit.
Try simple techniques; start with a bible reading, use a helpful system like; PRAY Pause/Rejoice/Ask/Yield.
Try things that you hold, like smooth stones in a bowl, one for each person you are praying for, or names in a jar, or knots in a cord that you tie and untie.
An hour passes quickly.
