Finding Your Way into NBUC

People come into churches in many different ways...all equally good.

You can Watch the service online to see what it's like.

You can sign up for a newsletter.

You can participate in serving on one of our Hospitality teams or as a section pastor

Our Sunday morning hospitality team covers a variety of services for our guests and members. It is an amazing way to meet individuals who enjoy working alongside others. These services include:

  • Guest Services Desk - Meet guests, providing them with “Welcome Bags,” assist with registrations for various church events, and answer questions.

  • Parking Greeters - Guide guests to closest parking spot, and when lot is full, offer alternative parking suggestions.

  • Door Greeters - Welcome guests and members and provide assistance as needed (umbrella, wheelchair, etc.)

  • Ushers - Welcome guests and members while handing out church bulletin, and finding seats, as needed.

  • Refreshment Team - Prepare coffee, tea, juice and other refreshments as provided; clean-up after services.

If interested in this volunteer opportunity and/or for more information, please contact Marilyn Sutcliffe at office@nbuc.ca or 905-450-8003 ext. 201.

SECTION PASTORS

Section Pastors provide a personal weekly greeting before service for each seated guest and member in their designated Sanctuary Section. Additionally, they provide encouragement and support to worshippers by interacting with them, offering resources and connections as needed, so each may discover a deeper walk with God.

If interested in this volunteer opportunity and/or for more information, please contact Marilyn Sutcliffe at office@nbuc.ca or 905-450-8003 ext. 201.
